THE HIGH SURF is a three piece surf party band. Willy P sings and raps and plays rhythm guitar. Zooker plays lead guitar, Al Pal plays sax, and they both do backup vocals. The songs focus on surfing and partying in Santa Cruz. The vibe is positive. The High Surf mixes rock and funk and country and rap. You won’t really understand the mix until you see the whole set live.
