Carolyn Sills – The talented singer-songwriter and front for the renowned Carolyn Sills Combo and now (with her husband Gerard Egan) the eclectic Poi Rogers. Carolyn is legendary in the Santa Cruz music scene, and her talents have taken her and Gerard on the road to the far reaches of Americana & Western Swing venues around the U.S..
"Sills' voice sounds effortlessly - and wondrously - like Kitty Wells or Patsy Cline winging over the airwaves from a vintage Grand Ole Opry show." - Vintage Guitar Magazine
Carolyn Sills is the real deal of throwback country music. She has enough soul, heart, style and swag to convince audiences and listeners that they may have been transported to an era where country swing rules the waves, juke joints were the place to be, and heartache had a kick like a mule... all the lonesome wails, tongue-in-cheek humor, and late-night reflection you'd expect from a classic country gem." - Good Times Magazine
THIS is ONE of the few (if only) times you will be able to enjoy Carolyn Sills' special talents in a true solo performance. Just Carolyn and her standup bass. A MUST SEE!
