Between band shows and solo performances, Alex played a total of 322 gigs in 2019 alone giving him the local recognition of “The Hardest Working Man in Show Business”. In early 2020, Alex and band were off to a great start with leads on Music Labels and the possibility of going on tour as a supporting act. Alex was on a self promoted mini tour through Ireland when talks of “COVID-19” hit spreading rapidly through Europe. He just barley made it home late February playing only a hand full of shows before the big shutdown March 15 2020. Virtually all gigs and venues closed but Alex wasn’t about top let that stop him. As of march 23rd Alex and Jake (drummer) began doing live stream shows every Monday, Wednesday and Friday not only keeping in practice but reaching out and keeping relevant to their existing fanbase and more. As a result of the consistent live stream shows giving people a bit of “normalcy” as the Stay At Home Oder was in effect, Alex was voted “Best Live Stream Show” in The greater Santa Cruz County by The Santa Cruz Sentinal. Being a full time musician has been a hard enough path to pave but Alex refuses to let anything get in his way of playing music for the people and also writing two album lengths worth of material during quarantine that has yet to be released.
