7 Come 11 is a Hammond organ-driven trio that lays down super-funky grooves reminiscent of MMW and Soulive while delving into inspired jams and throwing out raging homages to classic rock giants like Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath.
Featuring the blazing guitar prowess of Danny Mayer, the ferocious drumming of Kris Di Noto, Gianni Staiano’s mighty Hammond organ and his mercurial footwork on the bass pedals, this group brings astonishing energy to the stage and leaves audiences wondering how so much sound can be coming from just three musicians.
As a group 7 Come 11 has shared the stage with such contemporary giants as Dragonsmoke (Stanton Moore, Ivan Neville, Eric Lindell, Robert Mercurio), Booker T, Vinyl and Orgone. Individually Gianni, Danny and Kris have shared the stage with such greats as MMW, John Scofield, Soulive, Robert Walter, Adam Deitch and Nigel Hall of Lettuce and the Royal Family Records crew, Ozomatli, and Karl Denson's Tiny Universe.
