The Carolyn Sills Combo plays the music of Patsy Cline

This September, The Carolyn Sills Combo will once again perform their
annual Patsy Cline birthday show around California, celebrating the
85th birthday of this beloved country legend. This special event will
showcase a full night of Patsy Cline’s most requested upbeat honky
tonk numbers, as well as those classic ballads and lesser known gems,
all sung and played with amazing authenticity by Carolyn and her ace
combo. In her endearing and often humorous stage presence, Sills has
captured the phrasing, delivery and emotion that would make even Patsy
proud, making for a most entertaining and memorable show. The band
includes top Monterey Bay players Charlie Wallace (steel guitar),
Jimmy Norris (drums), Gerard Egan (guitar) and Jerry Logan (bass).

Nominated for a 2016 and 2017 Ameripolitan Award for Western Swing
group of the year and a 2016 Academy of Western Artist Award for
Western Swing group and album of the year, “fans of ‘proper country’
have some new heroes," (Country Music People Magazine) in The Carolyn
Sills Combo. Their current release, Dime Stories Vol 2, was named by
No Depression as one of the top new release of 2016.

"Sills and her eclectic combo took to the stage like old pros, as
their professional, fun and charming manner won the crowd over in a
heartbeat. This is by far one of the coolest shows I’ve been to in
quite a while."" – Paste Magazine

"Carolyn Sills has been winning over Santa Cruz music lovers with her
'Patsy Cline Spectacular' concerts. After years in New York City,
playing bass with country/rockabilly outfits and singing with the
likes of Les Paul, Carolyn Sills has relocated to the west coast to
bring her one-of-a-kind show to Santa Cruz County." - San Jose Mercury
