Santa Cruz's own, Getaway Dogs, make cushy bedroom psychedelic bossa nova with sprinkles of indie folk, soul, surf and hip-hop.

Hailing from San Francisco, Spooky Mansion is a surf-soul rock-n-roll band. They started as a one-off performance when asked to play for Owen Wilson's 45th birthday on the shore of the Mississippi River in North Texas. After a bootleg recording of the event was passed around in early 2015, a cult following began growing and the band eventually decided to pursue music full time.

The Sandy's takes its name from Alexi Glickman, former Botticellis founding member, post-surfing habit of tracking bits of the beach into friends' cars and gives breezy psych pop a twist with open-tuned guitars. Along with his time in the Botticellis -- whose 2008 album Old Home Movies earned acclaim for its warm, intricate indie pop -- Glickman also played with Little Wings before forming Sandy's as a solo project in 2012.
