Transoceana is a rock project started by Danny Moriarty in Aptos, California in the ocean-side county of Santa Cruz, as what the band used to be known as Hindenburg, that evolved from covering Led Zeppelin and doing psychedelic garage rock into the sounds that have come up to what is being made today.
Danny recruited high school friends, bassist, Matthew Howard, and drummer Judson DiSalvo, as his rhythm section and the sound has just grown from there. Every show is a mix of the old garage style and the new alternative rock style.
